What "propagation" means
When you change a DNS record, the new value doesn't appear everywhere at once. Resolvers around the world cache the old answer until its TTL (time to live) expires, so different resolvers can return different results for a while. Checking several at once shows whether a change has finished rolling out or is still in progress.
Reading the results
If every resolver returns the same record, your change has propagated. If some still show the old value, give it time - up to the record's previous TTL. This tool queries Cloudflare, Google, and Quad9 over DNS-over-HTTPS. For a deeper look at every record type on a single resolver, use the DNS lookup tool.
