I had a chance to use this router and the Linksys WRT1900AC which is the golden standard among AC1900 routers. The Linksys outperforms Archer C9 in terms of bandwidth. At longer distances of more than 40′ it’s not even a contest. If you’re buying a router based on looks go with Archer C9, if performance is the main factor Linksys should be your choice.

Outstanding Value and Range. Had a ASUS Black Knight that never seemed to connect devices to 5Ghz. Purchased this based on about 90 reviews on Amazon. Bought this along with the AC750 Range Extender at Costco.com. The range is awesome, dont even really need the extender. XBox, tablets, couple laptops, blu ray players, Roku, Chromecast, Amazon Fire Sticks..no issues. Used to have buffering issues with my Samsung TV and Plex server, NO MORE!! Same internal hardware as more expensive AC Netgear routers!
